the day could of started better.
i ran to the fridge grabbe 2pint bottle of milk and ran to millenium square whilst consuming
the calcalicious beverage. i got there 5 mins early. result.
Now
i basically started off by getting my apron on before the tutor did a demonstration of what to do.

these are the tools of the trade.

- scissors- a paint brush- a spoon- a knife- a toothbrush- a pencil- roller

- Screen filler- Speedball screen printing inks- Speedball Screen retarder base

Now stage one. We got out the pots of paint containing CYMK we then scraped out the paint and applied it to the glass table we would be then working on to even it out we then got a roller and spread it around until the paint had thinned out.

We then get our asitate kind of paper which is then used to apply rolls of paint on to.
now it doesnt sound interesting at all does it?

Thats were the prep work comes in, we were asked to bring in a stencil before we went in.
Ill produce a photo of the stencil as soon as i can

STENCIL PHOTO HERE (MISSING)

Now after we are satisfied with our printing, we then get a sheet of news paper and cartrage paper, we put some paper down on the print roller then place are asitate creations face up on top. we then stick our cartrage paper over that and then we stick some thinner news like paper over that, so in all we have a stencil sandwhich. this is so the machine doesnt get dirty and un usable.

after we have rolled it, we throw away the scrap paper and then take our asitate sheet of A4 and our cartrage paper which has just been printed on to.

then we move over to the cleaning area in which we have to spray the aitate paper with sunflower oil and cleaning soap so we can then make another print.

here are some photographs of before the print had taken place:
