Well, during my crit i had some cool feedback about my sketchbook and the drawings i did with a slight hit of colour seamed to respond quite abit of interest so i believe im going to carry out some more of these drawings but using different media to respond with!


in all what i want to have is a journey layed out in this style of drawing using a continuous line
mmmmmmmmmmmhmmmmmmmm

anyhow i decided something today which i have given the title


A line is character


To show this i have taken a picture of my showfair Mr Marc Redhead

and tore it in half as i dont like him that much and i have drawn on the rest of his face

these are extremley experimental, im trying to find my media approach for this topic at hand.
I call this piece:

Now i m trying out different kinds of effects and media that im not to use to in all fairness
but here are some others i did to corrispond with having an image half photo half drawn.

I plan to try a few more ideas and some other concepts, maybe water colours next :) 

After have done this, i plan to do a piece were a full figure is in a urban enviroment 

But as the background is concerned it would be in linear and simple linear of that!

id like full focus on the figure in all honesty as i think that would be a interesting target and wouldn't look to cluttered with colour and all hat jazz, this is after i have done some experimentation on journey in this style of drawing.

I believe i would be vital to have a build up of research on journey and style of drawing before i just jumped into this.

another thing i would like to investigate into further is line and journey, so over reading week i plan to walk around all leeds and take a journey joiner amongst my walk.
